A Seattle native, Dr. Silverman graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine before completing her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. After several years practicing general rehabilitation she joined the St. Mary’s Spine Center, a multidisciplinary clinic in San Francisco, where she focused on non-surgical treatment of patients with back, neck and chronic pain issues.  Also certified in Pain Medicine, she was the head of the Pain Management Program at St. Mary’s Hospital.

An avid cyclist and hiker, Dr. Silverman brings a lifelong passion for exercise and health to her role as Medical Director at Silicon Valley DXA.
